Pantherella originally opened in 1937 establishing itself in women's hosiery. Eight years later in 1945 Pantherella Fine English Socks was founded and began trading. Louis Goldschmidt, Pantherella founder envisioned fine gauge English socks to be the future of the industry, after growing tired of chunky and uncomfortable socks.
Goldschmidt's vision was correct and by the time other companies had began production for finer sock Pantherella had already established itself for creating the world's finest socks. Pantherella have always stayed true to their values focusing solely on design, quality and craftsmanship when other brands have waived.
